who without doubt are the best people to live with in the &lt;u&gt;Caribbean.&lt;/u&gt; Ever been to the Bahamas and you will know what I mean.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;Mexico real estate&lt;/u&gt; is by far the best and lowest cost in the islands of the caribbean or the Usa or Canada and Europe yet you can have a wonderful slow life&lt;br /&gt;and the living is easy.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One of the biggest headaches I have as an agent is showing skeptical buyers why Mexico and real estate is a fantastic investment, the first problem is misconceptions and a different culture and it is strange at first but when you see the simplicity of life here and the warm of the Mexicans, its my number 1 destination to live in and Ive been in a few places internationally.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Where else can you have a new condo on the beach starting from $250k, or a huge mansion new fully equipped at 3600 feet with pool ad the whole nine yards at $300k worth $450?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Or a new villa with 3 bedrooms at $225k reduced with the recession from $325k or a &lt;u&gt;new home&lt;/u&gt; starting at $140s.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you have fallen in love with Mexico and been coming here for 10 years you know you should have bought 8 years ago, &lt;u&gt;Mexico Real Estate&lt;/u&gt; will keep rising as times go by so dont wait too long, your &lt;u&gt;home&lt;/u&gt; has changed in the last year as has the &lt;u&gt;global economy.&lt;/u&gt; I still believe the market here is low and has a long way to go, for example,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;we have &lt;u&gt;villas that dropped 30%&lt;/u&gt; which means you can have a new villa for $225k close to beach, fully equipped and way under market. Should you buy one now? Yes, prices will not go lower as about sold out!!!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;Mexcio real estate&lt;/u&gt; and &lt;u&gt;buying a home in Mexico today&lt;/u&gt; has reached the low and because demand has always been high, these great buys are going fast now.&lt;br /&gt;So should one wait or get in now? Many of my clients waited 2 years and they tell me they going to wait another year. This makes sense if you buying in the USA where in some states such as Florda prices have fallen 50%, you will have to wait a few years before you can flip for a profit there.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I recently had a few Canadians in 2 minds as to buy or wait and although I showed them some first class buys, their indecision had them pass. I don&amp;#39;t understand the mentality of Mexican developers who hold prices high during slow summer months then panic as no sales they dump prices 20% for cash in winter then wonder why they sold out so quickly and realize they made a boo boo but hey good for buyers and me as an agent, I just go with the flow and the developer starts a new project again and learns and adjusts to the market at reasonable costing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This situation has happened with 6 developers at the same time now and Im just smiling as I cant keep up with sales and high flow of demand.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1 week ago a developer had 4 oceanfront luxury condos value $650 but decided to let them go $450, so today 2 left and they will be gone in 7 days. High rental high quality make $200k from the developers boo boo!!!! and rent at high weekly rate $2k plus and use or sit on the beach.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Playa del carmen has a limited amount of property but buyers can get steals and deals now until these builders realize their blunder and raise prices to normal levels.
